SO I thought I would post about this because I'm soooo excited.
Raul and I are officially approved to move into our new home. It's a beautiful complex - RIGHT next to a Starbucks, Subway and Rubios, and then directly across the street are plenty of food places and a Barnes and Noble so I'll never be without reading material. Then about a block or two away is the Santa Ana Mall. We have everything we need within a few blocks, but surprisingly it's not too trafficky. It's about 15 minutes from his school and my school, and directly off the freeway. Plus it's still close to our gym, fairly close to Disneyland, and all my and his friends.
In addition, it is a two-bedroom (or rather a one-bedroom plus a den, which is the size of small-ish room), has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a fireplace, washer and dryer (which is in a separate room IN the apartment!!!), our apartment overlooks the pool, there is abundant parking, we get half off appetizers and alcoholic beverages 24/7 at El Torito across the street just for living there, they allow kitties (which we will be getting in March), and so so sooo much more. And I love that he wants to decorate, too, and we're going to paint the walls, and pick out a brand new couch together (we'll be cheapo on other things, just splurging on a couch) and GAH super excited. I'm over having roommates, whether it be my own or at his place (even though I love Josh and my roommates and all) and with only 12 units next semester I can make our place look amazing, and cook delicious meals for him when he comes home, and not have to use a gross laundry room to wash clothes, and have loud sex whenever we want.... So much to look forward to.
Finals are all officially over, I think I did pretty well on all of them, and Vegas is fast approaching. Definitely not at my goal weight, but I can still feel good about myself and exude some confidence. I especially won't care about any pudge when I'm super hammered.
Well, time to finish packing. Raul and I are stopping in SLO tomorrow and spending the day and night there (our own mini vacation) before we finish the drive up the next day.
Gnite!
