Woke up this morning to french toast and bacon cooking downstairs.
Our surprise dinner for my mom went over incredibly well. We thought she might have caught on, but she didn't suspect a thing. My brothers, their girlfriends and I met at her favorite Italian restaurant at 6, and she and my dad showed up like 15 minutes after. My mom almost started crying when she saw us. To make sure my dad and mom didn't get to the restaurant before us, he called me on the phone and my code name was Bo Wang (one of his coworkers). Mission accomplished.
Now I'm relaxing at my parents house with them. My brothers went to an A's game but I'm broke like a muthafucka. And there's no way I COULDN'T buy a beer, hotdog and chocolate malt while I was there.
Back to Orange County tomorrow morning at 8:00. Blech.
