(no subject)
I'm so incredibly excited about the election results. I can feel this strange overwhelming emotion building up inside me, not quite sure what it is yet. I've never given a shit about politics at all, not even the tiniest bit until this election, and now I feel so motivated and optimistic. It's a good feeling. Seeing Mccain tear up during his speech, though, made me a little sad. He's a cute old man, despite his gobbler.
Birthday weekend was really nice. Halloween itself ended up being kind of a flop except for the fact that I was with Raul and that Sheena drove all the way out to see us. That girl drove all over the place this weekend and made it to both my actual birthday on Friday AND my birthday dinner on Sunday. I luf her. My bday dinner was great, though. Pretty much everyone made it, except for a few. We went to this amazing sushi place in Fullerton, stuffed ourselves, and then I got surprised with a huge cake my roomie made me! It was a 4 layer cake, complete with a prehistoric landscape with a river, volcano, trees (all edible) and toy dinosaurs! Coolest cake I've ever seen. She spent so much time on it, too. I have wonderful friends. OH, and this crazy guy that I think owned the sushi place bought me a sake bomb. It was great.
20 doesn't feel much different, but I prefer it over 19. ONE MORE YEAR.
Josh, Raul and I opened up a celebratory bottle of wine. I'm in a great mood.
