EVERYONE should read about Liad
Shortly after I met D he introduced me to the wonderful Liaden books. They are sci-fi with a bit of romance thrown in. The books quickly became very important to me and since then I've reread them several times. I eagerly look forwad to reading each new book.
One of the aspects that I love about these books is the extreme honor and respect that is required in that society. They made me think about who I want to be and how I want to treat people. Now I find myself often wishing I could just keep a stack of them on around and hand them out to everyone. I wish they were on standard reading lists. The problem of course is that I feel most people today wouldn't get the concepts.
Mental note: need to bring make sure my palm is charged cause now I feel like I need to read them again.
