Well its been far far to long so as i got shouted at from
thepussykat for having to much crap on my camera and not posting often enough i shall inflict my insanity upon you.
Warning there are lots of pictures under the cut.
For some strange reason my friends seem to like to keep coming to visit me at Isengard and help me to bash metal:-
Here
rosenkavalier is enthusiastically constructing caltrops for the greater improvement of our defensive emplacements at this years
hcgv outings.
So whilst he got on with that i was able to work on the much waitied for Swivel cannon project (now called Eleanor) i got rid of the horrible MK1 swivel mounting and got my nice friend at Pheonix Iron works to laser out some 1 and a half by 3 quater inch thick steel arms for the sling and i was able to construct a nice handle that bolts onto the back of the cannon:-
After much hammering cursing etc etc i got this:-
Unfortunatly it wasnt ready for test firing for a few more weeks then it was christened in style during a manic week which say various visitations from
esdi_leanne,
thepussykat,
wyte_phantom,
johnnyk,
rosenkavalier,
lord_semjaza and
littlecyberalex So we all had to have a blast at it and boy does it go with a bang.
And so on.
Thanks to
johnnyk for the lovely animation icon and also to
wyte_phantom for accidentally taking the video footage in the first place.
The rest of the burgeoning
hcgv arsenal was also fired a hell of a lot, with the by now quite usual anexation of the Queen ann pistol (Ann) by
wyte_phantom and the equally predicted take over of the blunderbuss (Rosie) by
rosenkavalier, still at least everyone else got to grab the other stuff.
I was really really pleased to finally get
rosenkavalier hunting hangar fully finished. I completed the blade last year but it really needed a nice scabard and i had allways liked the look of the Hungarian/Central and Eastern European scabards and i think it's come out quite well.
Still it wasn't just all muck and guns we did get to dress up and go out as well.
littlecyberalex does look a tad nervous in this one, must be the apperance of the riding crop!!!
Well i must have trully wonderfull friends to keep coming back for more Orkish insanity thank you guys.
