Was having a look on rosenkavalier's own web site today and i realized just how many amazing outfits he has made for me. So if your not familiar with his work then go and have a look it's well worth it trust me.
No idea as i have never paid for any of them with money that is i just keep making him weapons, armour and the odd bit of medical equipment in exchange.
When you're next down, I'll show you the pieces I now have and we can have a think about the bits that are still needed... A lot of them I can find or make myself, but there are a few bits that I'll need your help with - cautery irons, tooth hammer, pliers, etc.
Quite a list of scarry items you have there, i think we need to visit Kent this winter and not just to see Goudhurst. I got a shipwreck detectives DVD at the weekend and one of the ships it delt with was the man o war Sterling Castle, commissioned by Charles the 2nd and it sunk in the great storm in 1703 most of the artifacts are in the small maritime museum at Ramsgate and most of the ship is well preserved in a huge sandbank of the Kent coast so even leather goods have survived! They mentioned finding the surgeons room complete with tools etc, unfortunatly they didn't show any of them but they should be in the museum.
Perhaps you could do an 'official' viewing request as you did for our Bucklers Hard visit?
