Remember Remember!!!
Well it's allmost the time of year again to celebrate that great English tradition of trying to blow up Parliament.
As Whitby tends to land the weekend before it organisation in the past has been somewhat Orkish and well non existent.
So you are all invited to my little bonfire night celebration the first saturday after Whitby that's the 3rd of november.
I know it's not the 5th but we all have jobs to go to and i want to get roaring drunk and play with gunpowder.
If you haven't been before this is what it was like last year:-
This is the bonfire pile in Isengard after wyte_phantom and i had stacked it up, well i cheated and used the Liebherr but who cares.
Just so you know we do have 2 bonfires yes that's 2 boys and girls just because i can.
So this is the Pyromaniac team after succesfully lighting the bonfire pile in the scrap yard.
The Pyro team from L to R comprises small_lost_bat Gary wyte_phantom
slackgoth and rosenkavalier
So it was of to Isengard for the main event and sticking with the inevitable Lord of the Rings theme the lovely drow_elves_rule had made me a nice effigy of Frodo to Burn, complete with ring round his neck; (which being the responsible ork that i am i removed and gave back to it's rightfull owner).
So here's me putting the little furry footed so and so on the bonfire, i had to hurry as the Pyro team had allready lit the sodding thing!
Then came the gunpowder part and rockets lots of rockets.
Here we see Dr Von Brown and his assistant with some early V2 model test rockets!!!
And didn't they look pretty, especially the one with the war head on that crashed into the Chav's gathered outside the off licence?
It all burned down nicely and the Ent threat was no more, you can just make out the remains of treebeard in the back ground! Or is it just a beardy old re enactor i get confused..
The next day complete with hangovers we returned to Isengard to make more noise and some more smoke.
By firing off guns both ancient and modern. here is slackgoth with the Brown Bess musket.
And here is rosenkavalier with the more modern ruger 10/22.
