Art post!
But not MY art. I wanna show off some of the awesome things I've gotten lately! I have realized recently that just about all my friends are artists. And they're all really awesome ones! Most of you reading this probably know each other (or at least know OF each other,) but I'm gonna post info and links about everyone JUST IN CASE.
Oriyan be the best Santa ever! Drawn by Laura! Laura is the creator of the hilarious comic Five Star and everyone should read it. (ALSO Laura I am SO jealous of your brush pen skillz. Also I am totally still sending you a Christmas card, I PROMISE)
Ceria smoochin Oriyan from Sarah! Arrrgh this is too cute forever! Sarah is a ridiculously good digital painter! (Sarah I am totally still sending YOU a card, too)
A frikkin ADORABLE chibi commission of Dagmar I got from Amy. I found Amy's comic when I was back in college and was impressed and hero worshipped her for years before I ever actually talked to her.
Two pictures from Jessica Jes has been my best friend for.. hmm.. seven or eight years? Holy crap when I did I get so old. Anyway the first picture is a sketch trade of Reko as a sphinx with Sarah's character Angelo. Sooo cute! The second is a commission of Maribelle I got from her and I am crazy happy with it.
Next is an icon commission of Reko from Julie. I recently met her through PE and her art is so colorful and juicy and makes me think of delicious candy.

This has been an EXCELLENT year for giftart and I hope to be able to buy more little commissions soon. It's so fun to see my characters in other styles. I wish I had MORE time for trades, because it's so inspiring and fun! But alas, at the moment I have a LOT of storyboard homework, a costume I need to design, christmas cards to make and pokemons to draw (and catch.)
