HALLOWWEEEN MEME
Okay you guys halloween is my favorite forever. Christmas and thanksgiving whave been horribel stress-filled monsters for as long as I can remember, but Halloween's just FUN. And this year I have a costume and a REASON for it. I'm going to a huge singles party down in Santa Monica and I am super excited/terrified.

1. What is your favorite candy?
My favorite thing to get trick or treating was mini krunch bars. For some reason I hate 'em full sized, but the tiny ones... omnomnom
2. Do you still go trick or treating?
I'm at the point where I'd need my own kids to take. Sad.
3. What was your least favorite candy to get?
Those weird little peanut butter taffies that came in orange and black waxed paper. They always looked and tasted like they had been sitting around someone’s pantry since the 60’s (*copied Amy AND Sarah's answer because wtf are those nasty things??)
4. When you got home from trick or treating, did you go through all your candy and separate them into piles to see what you got?
I'd pour my pillowcase onto the floor and look through it with my parents and sister. I ususally had enough to last until Easter.
5. Did you ever trade candy with your friends?
Totally. I had to get rid of those nasty peanut butter taffies somehow, didn't I?
6. What was your favorite costume growing up?
I had many an awesome costume... but I think my favorite was the skunk.
7. Are you dressing up this year? If so, what are you being?
YES. I'm a pirate, just like last year. But this one's even BETTER YOU GUYS.
8. Do you still carve pumpkins? If so, what will it look like?
I always want to, but never get around to it. :<
9. Do you make homemade pumpkin seeds?
Yes and I loooove them
10. Do you decorate your house?
Not really. I love it when people do, but my family never really bothered and I don't have a house to decorate right now. Though my computer desk is covered in plastic mice and a life-sized crow.
11. Do you like candy apples, or caramel apples?
I've never had a candy apple, just caramel ones. And I love them.
12. Do you like the movie Nightmare before Christmas?
Ehhhhh, not really. The songs get stuck in my head and I can't figure out why the chick likes Jack. She totally deserves better.

LOVE IT.

15. Jason, Freddy, or Michael Myers?
Freddy! I actually haven't seen any of those movies, but the hilarious old TV show, Freddy's Nightmares, is more than enough to win my heart. <3
16. Do you like haunted houses?
Depends on the company and my mood. They can be ridiculously fun, but I'm kind of a wuss. I need to be with the right people to enjoy them properly.
17. Do you think as long as you dress up, you should be able to trick or treat?
No, if you're old enough to buy your own candy, just go to the grocery store.
18. Have you ever been to a huge costume party?
I'm going to tonight!
19. Bats or black cats?
Bats. I have two black cats, so they say less "Halloween" and more "watch where you sit on the couch"
20. What was your least favorite costume growing up?
My mom made me a sparkly unicorn costume. The costume itself was awesome, but it was SO ITCHY I was miserable the whole night.
21. If you have a crush or significant other, and were dressing up together, which costume would you pick for the two of you?
I've never thought about this, oddly enough. But I would make him wear suspenders, at least.
22. What are you doing on Halloween?
Going to a party where I know NO ONE. I am very, very nervous.
23. Are you afraid of spiders?
Depends on the shininess and proximity to me. Basically, if it has any chance of getting ON me, I'm very upset.
24. Were any of your school dances Halloween themed?
We never had dances, but my schools usually had a carnival or something.
25. When you were younger, did your school make you parade around in your costumes so the parents could see?
Yes. And I loved it. I've always put a lot of work (or made my mother put a lot of work) into my costumes and I loved showing them off.
26. Do you think it would be fun to go to a Murder Mystery party on Halloween?
Aaaahhh, there's one near here that's on a boat... that'd be so awesome.
27. Do you think it's wrong that there's Wack Jacko masks after Michael Jackson?
I've never understood celebrity masks to begin with.
28. Did you buy your costumes from the store, or did someone make them for you?
I've never had a pre-made costume. the only things I buy are things that would take forever to make. My costumes are often made out of things I already own and wear separately anyway.

30. Did your parents check your candy?
To an annoying degree. Anything homemade, unless it was from someone we knew, was thrown out. And all the store bought stuff had to be inspected for tears and puncture marks, in case someone has INJECTED TERRIBLE POISONS/DRUGS in them. This meant I had to eat dangerous looking things as soon as I got them, or they'd be taken away!
