I surfaced from the blackness of unconsciousness, confused. I was in my room and it was daytime- I could tell from the sunlight flooding in through the open window. Tetsuya was in front of me, trying to get me fully awake. He had been talking to me, and now he glared at me peevishly, annoyed that he had to repeat what he was saying for the second time. I made my brain process what he was saying, so he wouldn't nag at me like an old housewife.
"Kou, really. You are dumb as dirt when you first wake up! For the third time, I am being sent on a mission now. I'll be leaving soon, but Master Gackt said that you could stay here and look after Yuu. Honestly, I don't know why I can't stay too-"
Yuu. At the mention of his name, I block out Tetsuya's nagging housewife chatter. 'That's right, I remember now. Tora hurt Yuu during our mission last night.' I stayed by his side in the infirmary for hours, holding his hand, until one of the medics had forced me to go back to my room and sleep. It had been hard to sleep without Yuu's presence in our room, but I knew that I needed to sleep so I could stay strong and help him in any way I could.
"Kouyou? Kouyou! Hey!" Tetsuya yelled, waving a hand in front of my face annoyingly.
"What?" I smacked his hand away, getting up to put my clothes on.
Tetsuya followed right behind me, continuing his chatter. "I think you have some problems with concentration, and that could be bad because what if...oh crap! I gotta go! Take care of Yuu!
