In the Hood!
It's official. I've moved up to the northside. I'm living with my wonderful man Chris leiny. Over the past two weeks I've moved all my belongings from my parents house in Oak Forest all the way up here to Rogers Park. I'm finally free, I'm finally out from under my parents shadow. It's been a long time coming and it's about damn time! I'm so happy right now but it's tempered by being very tired.
There are so many great things about living up here. Mostly being near all my new friends. However, this means I'm further away from all my old friends, including my best friend Steve lordsed (who, as I already said, his birthday was today. Happy Birthday Bud!!!). This makes me sad but I know I can still see them all if I want because it's still not horribly far away.
It's also a pain that I'm still working on the south side. Fortunately I've requested and received a change in my schedule at work. I will now be working four 10 hour days, Tuesday thru Friday. This schedule kicks in as of Thursday Aug 8th. Yay three day weekends! My trip is long though and I'll be going through gas a bit. But in the long run it's all worth it.
Joey profundojoe will be moving in with Chris and I mid to late August. This will make bills for all of us that much cheaper. We'll probably be in this apartment till the spring, at which point we will be looking for a larger place together. Hopefully I'll have a new and better job by then.
Well thats all for now, I have to get up early for work. I just wanna say hello to all my new neighbors in the Rogers Park area and I hope to have time to hang out with you all. Take care all!
