If Ever Two Were One...
All sorts of stuff going on. And yet, everything's really about the same.
Sai swords could be the most beautiful weapon ever - I'm having so much fun learning to use them. The clinic runs about four months (it started January 12 and ends May 24), so by the end I should have some semblance of skill. Definitely one of the best things I've taken up in awhile. :) And for anyone who doesn't already know, these are sai swords:

More recently, I was sitting in Driver's Ed. tonight, watching the girl in front of me talk endlessly to her friend with a chewed-up pen hanging out of her mouth, hardly aware of the two guys on my left cheating on the Chapter 8 test that they'd already failed twice, and listening to the guy behind me talk about how drunk he'd been at his friend's last party, when I realized that the majority of these people are actually going to operate a motor vehicle one day. It's really disturbing - some of these kids have difficulty walking, let alone driving. I agree with Geoffroy: a whole bunch of them are going to end up as statistics, and it's depressing. :P
On a totally unrelated note, I've been reading a lot and having odd dreams lately... usually I can't remember them, though. They leave me feeling vaguely inspired in the morning, though, and it's helping me to write more. I think I may have some good stuff coming soon - we'll see. :)
