(no subject)
Spring Break.

Usually breaks seem to go so quickly for me. Not this one.
It's been an eternally long weekend. Everything is so quiet and everybody being off campus feels diffrent then it ever used to. Usually I love spending a day from the weekend alone in my room. Watching a movie or catching up on sleep, or sometimes, reading. But being forced to do it because there's nobody else around to spend time with is diffrent.
I did get some work done though. I compleated 5 applications and cover letters and personal statements and all that jazz. The two summer places I'm applying to and 3 of the august-june internships. One of them is my dream internship, at Trinity Repetory Playhouse in Providence.
Then today I finished my outline and reading for my comp and wrote it in the required 90 minutes and emailed it on the dot of 5 oclock. It's not bad, I guess. Though I feel like it's kinda self absorbed. All I do is talk about me. But I suppose thats okay seeing how it is an essay question about my creative process. ... still, it felt wrong to write.
So now the rest of my break can be spent finishing and mailing these applications, reading Aphra Behn's "The Rover" and cataloging my entire library (I must have like two hundred books in my room by now. It's going to take me forever!) for the Student library prize. I've wanted to win that prize since I was a prospective, so I'm not leaving a single book out.
I'm so exhausted, but I don't want to go to sleep until I finish tranferring all my computer files to my portable hard drive. My computer has semi-died on me. I think all it needs is a totall reboot, but I'm not going to attempt that until all my files are safe. I've been at this pretty much since 5 pm, and I think its probably going to take another 2 or 3 hours. :(
