NoBrandCon is approaching (April 20-22) and their line-up for tournaments look pathetic. Of course, I had low expectations but this was just way too low tier for me to handle. Maybe Frey and I can just make our own tourneys. Soul Calibur 3 has been brought back and I think it's a pretty stupid idea since SC2 > SC3 by far. I guess I'll practice and play a dirty Kilik...at an anime convention.
Ordered a Hori Fighting Stick 2 and it should be here within 1-8 days (They didn't have any HRAP available :[ so yeah). I'll eventually pick up a PS3 and get me T5DR. I'm pretty depressed at how low of a turnout Eau Claire has for competition. The only ones that are below what I'd say "decent" are the Ferno kids (Go back to Initial D). They managed to win 3 out of the 7 games we played...that's what I get for not paying attention. What happened is beyond me since I was getting hit by stupid shit. I seriously need to stop day dreaming. I'm also looking for new characters to pick because Hwoarang and Lee just aren't enough. I'll be practicing more with Devil Jin and Bryan a lot; maybe some Lei and Lili later on.
Milwaukee seems to look good for competition but I'm not traveling for 4+ hours to go to a lock-in to play T5DR with bad sticks (hate using controller) to play one or two locals. Plus, Milwaukee is kind of scary if you don't know where you're going.
I'll figure something out. But for now, Tekken and SCIII practice. Then, NoBrandCon.
