People don't like me I guess

Today, a kid named Matt McNish told me that I wasn't Chinese and I wasn't in a good mood. We were talking about China and he says that he doesn't give a damn about China and I told him I am actually Chinese. He didn't believe me and I was trying to convince him I was but in the end it was no good. I then said I was Hmong with sarcasm...and he believed me. What? I don't get it at all. So now he thinks I'm Hmong and I think people are starting to hate me because this kid tends to over-exaggerate and makes a big deal out of everything. He's also the guy who says I never show all my work on the homework even when I told him politely that I do but of course he thinks that I'm actually mad at him or something and creates another big scene.

I lose more respect from people everyday. I'm terrible at making friends.
