I'd understand if the report said, "Man contracts avian flu," or "Man successfully undergoes brain transplant," but really, it has no effect on the public, it's not someone's great achievement; what's the point of telling the world that a man cut his hand off on a lawnmower? Besides sensationalism, I mean. Oh, right, nothing. Cheers to the easily-bought public.
