They removed the chigger. Properly, or rather, properly colloquially, jigger said the nurse. Can you feel it wrigging, she said, they look something like a great big maggot. CHEERS I didn't bellow but so fucking nearly!!!
Five minutes of hacking & ouching & it was out, a big mass of tissue - mine & the jigger's two-hundred plus eggs plus sac - & a small brown wriggling ant-thing in the middle, which must've been the mother, I guess. Didn't get to keep it. "Research" & the little plastic vial thing was taken away & I'm bereft. Kindof a shame. Sorry for those who requested eggs. Kid's due next year. Is 'Jigger' a good name for a boy? :D
