halp! I'm being burried in cats...
Yesterday morning when I was dropping off my girlfriend, there was a black cat in front of the stairs. When she got out of the car, the cat ran off and I joke how the "black cat crossed your path"!
Apparently after I left, she sat outside waiting for her boss to show up and the cat stayed with her the whole time, being pet, rolling around, purring and being a general cuddlebug. Her boss being a cat person herself took the cat home for the day so that we could keep it, because at this point my girlfriend had already fallen in love with the poor thing.
He's not full grown, probably anywhere from 6mos ~ 13mos. He has HUGE paws, he's super fluffy and he's really boney. Unfortunately, none of our cats (or the new guy) are getting along yet (sans our youngest cat who is the bottom of the cat pryamid anyways)... and the stray kitty managed to scratch my poor doggy D:
So now we have the stray in our bedroom, and the rest of the animal kingdom in the rest of the apartment. I really didn't want to turn into a cat lady. >_< And I have a friend who knows a lady that "takes" in strays (aka she just feeds them outside) but he's soo soo skinny and so sweet as long as no other animals are involved. I want to at least fatten him up and try to make this work.
