I was kindof disappointed that i wasen't going to get to got to the whole rally, right up until the judge told us that our UIL OAP was advancing to region. Kick ass. The only thing we had been worried about was the time limit. You get 40 min to put on the production, ad if you go over you're DQ'd. We had 2 public performances and each of them we were at 50something min. Not cool. But we managed to memorize the whole new cut of the script (which we got friday, contest was saturday) and we did it in 37 min. We didn't just get a standing ovation after the performance, we got a jumpingupanddownscreaming performance. It was beautiful.

So, the rally, i showed up at about 11 saturday night and got to see the tail end f the band, which wasn't bad. The I got to talk to this totally awesome girl named Lara, who totally rocks my socks, and it was great. we stayed up till about 2, then she and i set some chairs up in the "24 hour room". then we never went to sleep, mostly because i was hyped up on aderol (sp??) that someone had given me to stay awake at the competition. I wont ever take one of those again. It sucks to be tired and not be able to go to sleep. I guess what I'm getting at is that the rally was awesome for the whole part i there for, all 8 hours of it.

Lara totally got me sick, I lost my voice and am coughing alot, and she did the same thing earlier in the week. Damn.
