It goes something like this! Lucifel and Michael were twin brothrs born to high and mighty pure blood house. THE PUREST OF PURE BLOODS INFACT, INCEST RAN RAMPENT. I BET YOU'RE SURPRISED.
Anyway. Very rich and very magical and etc. But their dad was a dick =\
So. Lucifel, when he was seven or so, went fuck that and ran away. Which wouldn't have been an issue but. He didn't take his twin with him. Infact he didn't mention it at all. He just upped and disappeared and when he couldn't be found was probably presumed kidnapped or dead. BUT IN REALITY what happened is Lucifel flew himself over to Japan, probably was going to manage to live off the streets but he got picked up by a japanese business man who had recently lost his son and wife in a car accident. Lucifel, howver, looked a LOT like his dead son and he couldn't let it go, even if it was shallow =\ He took him home and adopted him and PERSISTANTLY CARED FOR HIM. In truth, Lucifel always has been and always will be something of an aloof dick, even at age seven through ten, but... there was a genuine appreciation for his adopted 'father', so much better than his real one, a real love he felt and couldn't quite hide and despite causing a lot of pain, he was also his father's only source of happiness =\
Anyway! Since Lucifel REFUSED TO TELL HIS NEW DAD OF THE WIZARDING WORLD he adopted the name Kira Sakuya, the man's original son. He did this just to be a dick originally but, it sort of grew on him. On both of them. |D And, in a weird way, in order to further along the image he also started to take up reading all the books the original Sakuya kept in his room and IT SOUNDS BAD and slightly crazy but for him and his father it was weirdly sort of. Fitting.
ANYWAY his is how Kira Sakuya, the somewhat pliable, secretly caring, often reason japanese boy came to be. When he was ten he got the Hogwarts summons and had to tell his new adoptive father about it, and he was GOING TO SKIP IT really the wizarding world holds no interest for him but his dad wanted him to go so in the end he did. And. Arrived in his first year looking and sounding much like Lucifel, the brother Michael THOUGHT WAS DEAD. And his reaction to seeing his twin again three years later? Something along the lines of "Oh, you're still around?" and a VERY CLEAR LACK OF INTEREST. ....after that Michael probably hated him =D
Seven years later hasn't changed their relationship much except that Kira is more likely to tease Mika but. Ultimately still doesn't care. He's never returned home to his 'real' family, never replies to the letters, and has completely ignored any legal attempts to make him resume his old life. He doesn't really TALK ABOUT IT in general, but people in pure blood households might have heard the story, roughly, others probably heard rumors, I imagine only Katou actually got Kira to talk about it ever.
AS FOR SCHOOL LIFE.
In a general sense, Kira is a failure of a Ravenclaw because he really doesn't give two shits about his house or anyone else's. He's smart, and he does really well when he bothers to show up for class, but he doesn't CARE that he loses points for his House when he goes off to smoke on top of the school, or to dare Katou into playing with the whomping willow. He spends most of his free time not being an ass in the library, and reads quite a lot, but not for any particular purpose. He's a delinquent and tends to give the teachers and students shit alike, and I think he probably clashed with the majority of the slytherin house at one point or another and uh. Beat most of them up \o/ Not ALL AT ONCE just in that way that Slytherins give him shit, he gives them shit back, there is fighting, Kira tends to win in those situations, and eventually it hit a point where he'd humiliated enough individual members of the house that they leave him and the fact that he's friends with one of their own (Katou) more or less alone. Ish.
While a FAILURE OF A RAVENCLAW he's not unmovable, and he likes the PEOPLE in his house well enough, so they are more than welcome to track him down and drag him off to class so he doesn't lose them more points |D
Despite being pretty good on a broom, Kira only plays quidditch casually.
