Family Pet Problems
Hey there, guys:
Some of you on my flist may remember when we were a temporary home for my sister-in-law's friend's kitten, Leo. Well, after the in-law's cat perished, we sent Leo to her, to try to help her with her grief. And, as far as we could tell, it had worked. She talked about him a lot, bought him kitty clothes, etc.
Well, I just found out tonight that she feels she can no longer afford him. So what does she do? Does she send him back to us? NOOOO -- she get's the MiL to help her take him to the humane society!!!
I'll admit, I was furious -- and then in denial -- and then I cried like a baby for a few hours. My Leo Lovebug does not need to go to a place with tiny cages, where he'll be euthanized if he's not adopted in time. It's not right!
But I didn't get a say in the matter. I'm just now finishing off the hot cocoa the wifey made me, to calm my nerves. X_X
So Larkenia will be a bit late. Yeah, I know it sounds like a silly reason to some, but it's a big deal for me. ((And, hey, on top of that I have the tummy flu.))
