Okay, I warned you guys that another one was coming. This is done in the style of the previous music meme: my playlist on random for ten songs, and then I pick a character for each song.
1.
"Vultures" -- John Mayer -- I'll go with Podair for this one, even if it was a hard choice. But I think his decision to stay with Taveo and his gang for so long must have been at least a little self-motivated.
Wheels up
I got to leave this evening
Can't seem to shake these vultures
Off of my trail
Power is made, by power being taken
So I keep on running
To protect my situation
2.
"The Killing Lights" -- AFI -- Because my emo!guilty pleasures just had to show up during the random ticker. ^^;; It's a toss-up between Ysilde and Luku, but I think I'll take Luku, because of his need to know he's needed.
Three A.M. on the city street,
When the air is sweet,
I've had my mouthful.
But it seems that outside the screen
Such a pretty face often will look dreadful.
3.
"XO" -- Fall Out Boy -- Oh come on, this is just too Ysilde.
To hands between legs, to "whatever it takes"
To drinks at the club to the bar
To the keys to your car
To hotel stairs to the emergency exit door,no
To the "love", I left my conscience pressed
Between the pages of the Bible in the drawer
4.
"Tell Mary" -- Meg and Dia -- Podair/Samantha -- It wasn't a horribly long fling, but it was long enough to leave a large impact on Sam's life. Of course, Podair's oblivious to it all.
You're Gonna Leave Her Tonight.
She Sat Up With Her Eyes Wide.
You Fell In Love With A Girl You Knew.
You've Come To Say Goodbye.
You're Gonna Leave Her Tonight.
Under A Cheap July Sky.
Tell Her.
5.
"Sweet Religion" -- Imogen Heap -- This is more of a Daryene/Ysilde, because of how the other person became their obsession, and the fact that they are both in a religious order (with varying levels of belief).
Written in that book of love
Does it say your name above
The name by which they call me
And is it written in liquid red
Cause nothing else will do instead for reassuring eternity
6.
"If I Never See Your Face Again" - Maroon 5 -- Podair/Ysilde, who just can't seem to stick to the definition of a one-night stand.
'Cause you keep me coming back for more
And I feel a little better than I did before
And if I never see your face again
I don't mind
'Cause we gone much further than I thought we'd get tonight
7.
"Broadway" -- Goo Goo Dolls -- Luku. Everything about this song reminds me of Luku.
You see, you'd love to run home, but you know you ain't got one
Cuz you're livin' in a world that you're best forgotten
When you're thinkin' you're a joke and nobody's gonna listen
To the one small point I know they've been missing around here
Round here, yeah
8.
"Let the Flames Begin" -- Paramore -- I couldn't have asked for a more perfect song to pop up for Sessary. The lyrics should tell it all.
This is how we'll dance when,
When they try to take us down
This is how we'll sing it.
This is how we'll stand when,
When they burn our houses down.
This is what will be.
Oh, glory.
9.
"Take Me Out" -- Franz Ferdinand -- Luku/Celya, if only because when he hit on her, she batted him away in a most amusing way.
So if you're lonely,
You know I'm here waiting for you,
I'm just a crosshair,
I'm just a shot away from you
And if you leave here
You leave me broken shattered alive
I'm just a crosshair
I'm just a shot..then we can die
10.
"Same Blood" - The Academy Is... - Celya. She seems like the only character that shares blood with everyone, and is sympathetic to them all.
By all the people we need to love and hate,
Everybody makes the same mistakes
Divided by these walls,
Together we are lost
*Dies* That was harder than I thought it would be. My playlist was on random!crack tonight, and I skipped songs that didn't have an easily available online sampler (which explains the relative popularity of this batch, as well). ^^;;
