Blogspot, Be My Unholy, and Hollow Reverberations: Oh My!

Jul 26, 2007 00:07

Hey there guys:

Please note that this blog is still a Deathly Hollows spoiler-free zone. Anyone who violates that will be immediately banned from this and any future journals/communities that I'm involved in. Just thought I'd remind everyone before I continued posting: I'm really rationing my reading time, so I can make sure to work as well as take care of the family. Which means that no, I haven't finished it, nor am I even close. And while you may have the best intentions, remember that the way to Hell's been paved with 'em. ^^;;

Warnings aside, it's long past time for some updates.

First in line? Be My Unholy.

I had a rough patch following the immediate release of the last Harry Potter adventure: I house-sat, contracted pink-eye, had a migraine all day, and pillow cases full of icky writer's block. Which means I fell behind my schedule.

However, after a triumphant (and surprising) character revelation, things appear to be going smoother, with 3k plowed down today alone. The characters are really starting to come to life, and I'm looking forward to working on it again (knock on wood).

Curious about how well it's going?

Next up: Hollow Reverberations.

As some of you may know, Hollow's tentatively due out on Halloween this fall. As such, preparations have begun to get the book ready -- which, of course, includes cover art. I got a peek at it, and I must say, I couldn't be happier. It's an amazing piece of mixed media work, and I can't wait to show you guys!

And Finally, Blogspot:

Last item on the chopping block (and the one that I'll admit that I'm most hesitant about), is that I've gotten a blogspot account, since it's slightly easier to manage. If any of you are curious, I tend to post a bit more there than here (about my writing process, progress, etc-- no excerpts there, however), since I've had a mild problem with people plagarizing me on this site.

Don't worry, I won't stop updating here, but the other site will probably have a bit more information on it. If you're curious, go ahead and e-mail for the address (museofpuck@yahoo.com) -- and don't worry, it's not to intimidate anyone, so much as weed out the people who I love with those who take cheap shots by stealing my work.

That's all for now, and as always, have a nice night!
