Gothic Grapes And Sue-ducing Ladies
So I ended up being sick again yesterday, curled into a ball and being pathetic. Which means that I didn’t get any writing done, and am going to skip this week’s Gothic Grapes update. The next month’s or so should be steady, because I’m going to be writing them ahead of time and then using the post scheduler to get them up. (Which’ll be exciting, because I’ve never used the WP post scheduler before.)
I’m also looking forward to the
sueducing_ladies fest (I'm
originalpuck on DW, too). Essentially, it’s a bunch of awesome writers getting together to write deliberate Mary Sue femslash. Exciting.
I have a bunch of different ideas in my head, but I still have to decide on a fandom. I’m considering Harry Potter, X-Men movieverse, BtVS, PotC, Star Trek, and Twilight. Most of those are fandoms I’ve never written in, so it’s a bit intimidating. But no matter what I pick, I want to write the trashiest piece of fic I can get my hands on.
Anywho, it’s gonna be a blast, and if you haven’t given it a look yet, you should. You have until July to finish something, and it can be any length. It’s also awesome because there aren’t any sign-ups. It’s the ultimate low-pressure challenge, which rocks my socks.
