I love it, because I really loved her design. (Though 'Madeline' is kind of a surprising name for an insect-looking alien. Probably a usename because we can't speak her real name?)

I think we should start making things up about her species, maybe give them a name and some sort of culture. How long have they been in the Federation? What do they bring? Maybe they're mostly female because they're insects - it would be kind of cool to see some insect aliens who aren't baddies.

Thanks! Unfortunately I'm going by what I've been told when it comes to Madeline's design, since I haven't been able to see the special feature myself.

I like the idea that Madeline is a usename. I'm working on a few stories that might include more of her background, so yay for worldbuilding. I love having a blank slate to create her culture with! ^^

I'd love to see your take on her culture! Madeline needs more love. ^^

Thanks!

(I'm glad you like it. I don't usually make icons, so I'm glad this one turned out good. ^^)

I need to stop reading fanon versions of female characters, because I'm going to be horribly let down when they're not in the movie. Clearly the solution is to hire a bunch of fanfic writers and let THEM do the sequel.

(Which is to say: good job!)

Oh man, definitely. When the next movie doesn't have tons of kick-ass female characters, I'm going to be seriously bummed.

(Thanks! ^^)

Yay Madeline! It's so nice to see a story about her. I like this. I love that you brought up the fact that different species are going to be treated differently, at least in a medical context.
