Main Cast
Everyone has a beginning, and the characters of Baubles and Broomsticks are no exception. The bios that are seen below include the character's first encounters with their skills and/or curses, and how it changed their lives.

Marianne Stevens

I've always hated baths, though I don't really think it's my fault. Nobody would like them, not if they ended up shaky and half-drowned whenever their head slipped below the surface. I tried explaining that to Carol, but she didn't care.

No, Carol would rant and rave for hours about how I needed to be clean: it helped me look good in front of God, it reminded all of her and dad's friends that I was a young lady, and it got rid of all the blood and dirt from the fights I got into. I never saw the point, and I still don't. One shower a week's perfectly good for me.

Dad would always demand that I stay home when he went to chemo, but I knew better. No matter what he said, I'd find a way to follow. I'd do all sorts of assinine things: hitchhike, steal money from Mom so that I could take the bus, even ride my bike the six miles to the nearest hospital.

I cried whenever I saw him hooked up to machinery, whenever I saw him stuck in a room full of dying patients. They were filthy with illness, and their death ate at me. But I had to be there for dad, had to help him, even if it hadn't really mattered in the end.

Gregory Hendricks

Birthdate: January 29, 1983

I don't care what they say. Being a child messiah isn't something cool. I didn't get to watch TV, couldn't eat candy, and the only kids I got to see where my sister and my future bride. What was worse was that I didn't even really know what I was missing; all I knew was that everyone else seemed to be surfing a wave length that I'd never even heard of.

On the other hand, in the rare times that I got to see the others, I could totally kick their ass at hide-and-seek. Even when they weren't letting me win.

Erica Goren

Birthdate: August 19, 1986

Sometimes I think Richard knew I'd be different, that he took me from mom because he'd seen something in me that he hadn't in any of his other bastard kids. Whether or not it was true didn't really matter, though. He found out, soon enough, and as soon as he did it was over. My life was over.

No more creating extra dolls to share with the neighbor kids, or making my own basketball for the hoops. Nah, now I was going to make sure our profits were sky-high, all the while making sure to avoid Richard when he decided to sample the products.

Alicia Dean

Birthdate: July 6, 1983
Played By: Amber Benson

People always talk about how 'plugged in' our generation is, but there's no way they could ever understand. It was always buzzing around, flies in my ears, dragging me away from the shows I was watching, the games I was playing, the lessons I was trying to learn.

They thought I was crazy, thought I needed drugs. Only my brother and his co-worker, Sandra, knew better. They took me to their lab, where they tested me. They understood in a way the others didn't. If only my brother hadn't wanted to make me his own personal lab rat, I wouldn't have needed to kill him.

Sandra Kane

Birthdate: December 15, 1981
Played By: Rosario Dawson

It was a human who found me, homeless, eating out of dumpsters, and spending half my day curled in a pool of blood and pain. It was a human who'd brought me to the Agency, and helped me trade-in my rags for a nice pair of sneakers and some regular meals. It was a human who'd brought me to people that taught me how to use my mutation, and it was a human who'd saved my life.

But there's a problem with humans, a reason that they rarely end up being field agents; they're so very fragile. Even as he lay dying, I found myself devoted to him. So I'd promised to help his sister, even if she was the one who'd killed him.

Reoccurring Characters
While not main characters, they're far from guests in this series. For now, I'm not offering any blurbs on them -- they're much too secretive for that.

Played By: Richard Belzer
