[Accidental Video Post] (Several hours after Haseo's post here)

[The PCD seems to be resting on top of a table, with L pacing in and out of the picture restlessly. There is a young fox nipping at his ankles, and he alternates between picking it up and setting it back down. He stops at one point and kicks glumly at the wall with his bare foot,

[Kenta pushes past L again, armful of blankets and one extremely large pillow. Quietly, he spreads out the thickest blanket on a bare patch of floor that hasn't been disturbed by the roots of the tree. He layers the rest of the blankets on top and gently eases Haseo onto them, peeling back torn clothes to get a look at his injuries.

Distractedly, he glances at L, as though only just noticing him.]

Go get some water from the well. And the rest of that shorn linen that I didn't use to bandage my hand. Do we have any sort of alchohol?

[He didn't think it was likely - none of them drank. Well, Haseo might, he WAS in college, but he'd never said anything in any case.]

[Is easily pushed aside as Kenta takes the blankets and pillow to the injured Hasseo. He watches as Kenta does what seems to come naturally to him, while he himself feels rather useless. Numbly, he goes to fetch the things Kenta wanted, not terribly efficiently, wracking his brain to come up with a possible stash of alcohol.]

We don't. Have alcohol, that is...

[Clumsily delivers water after a brief departure to the well, along with a bit of linen held out loosely in his long-fingered hand.]

[Kenta takes the linen and uses his teeth to rip it into long thing shreds. Dipping one corner of the largest piece into the water he attacks the largest gash.]

You're smart, aren't you, L? Can you think of something else that's good for anteseptic?

[Flinches slightly as linen is torn into strips. Leaves, returns with hydrogen peroxide he found in a cupboard soon after first moving in.]

This works well...

[swallows, looks like he really, really wants to get away from the injured person.]

What happened? Why were you gone so long, and are you all right, Kenta?

[Kenta takes the peroxide from his hand, idly noting that he should probably take a day to search the whole house, see what they have and what they might need for the future. He soaks another strip in the liquid and dabs at the open wounds until he's satified, before wrapping them up tight. He sighs.]

I was out looking for some sort of chocolate for Killua-the kid. I couldn't find what he wanted so I slept in one of the abandoned stores and looked around a bit more before finally giving up.

Then he showed up.

"He?" Who is "he?"

[Clearly worried. Oddly vulnerable and meek; L is not quick to emotion, and though he'll be angry later, right now he can only hover and try to help.]

He should see a doctor. You look like you know what you're doing... but this is stupid. He's hurt.

[All of Kenta's pent up stress and agression explodes on the wrong person.]

I don't know L! I didn't do anything to him, I don't know what his problem was!

[Meeker, quieter, after a moment.]
Unohana's coming to help him. I just don't want him to die before she gets here.

[Jarred and startled by Kenta's reaction, L withdraws to the kitchen, still within hearing range but certainly out of touching range.]

[He sighs heavily.]

I'm sorry L, it's not your fault, I shouldn't yell at you. I'm just frustrated. I'm...

I'm tired of all this, you know?

[Skittish and sad, but knows that it's not the time to make a big deal about it.]

I know you are. Who isn't? It's... rather more than an inconvenience.

As long as Unohana is coming...
