Cassie was curled up in the big chair reading.
..of course.

Every once in awhile she'd glance up at Billy as he roamed the apartment.
At first it was somewhat amusing. But after the seventh or so time of going in and out of the bedroom she's starting to get concerned.

Without looking up from her book, "You're beginning to remind me of Orion when he gets restless."

Billy jumped, spunm, stumbled, grabbed a bookshelf edge, accidentally yanked on it, and yelped as he ended up with a booshelf and books on top.

"oops."

That would be his muffled voice.

Cassie hurried over to him and righted the bookshelf.

Slightly concerned and somewhat mystified, "...are you okay?"

She slowly begins to put the books back on the bookshelf.

He looks at her and grins, lopsidedly.

"Yes."

He levers himself up and helps her. He is humming. Innocence rolls off him in waves... almost literally.

And that just makes it worse.

There is alot of 'whaaaat is he up to' going on in her head as they finish putting the books back on the bookshelf.

He feels that and he smiles at her.

"How are ytou doing tonight?"

He hums a little, calming down.

Then he raises a finger... not that one!

"But! I know that I will find it, so... no worries."

She nods slowly, still not completely sure. She'll go with it for now.

He comes to her and kisses her, holding her close, love and reassurance high in his mind.

"I am worried about it, but it will show up. I know it will, somehow, somewhere."

She smiles, relaxes into his arms and snuggles close to him.

"Maybe I should help you look."

He chuckles and half-chokes, but grins.

"It is kind of a surprise, actually... I wanted to surprise you..."

He smiles lopsided again and hugs her.

"It should show up soon."

"Ookay.

Um.

Weell. Where's the last place you remember having it?"

He pokes her.

"I'm nottttt goping to tell you. If I tell you, then you might findddd it."

He kisses her again.

"It is a surprise. I will find it."

He isnt sure, at all, and that thought makes him worry, some, and feel bad, but ... if he had to replace it, he will. He sighs and holds her close.
