Billy wandered most of the day, checking out the procedure for registering for classes, how to set up a bank account at the local big bank, paying for and biking around on a bicycle, and seeing the area

Cassie feels like she's been in the twilight zone all day. Not only has she had to reorient herself to her own schedule, where everything is, and familiarize herself with the homework that she finished five months ago but everyone kept asking her questions. She didn't consider the fact that she would look different to everyone: that her hair has kept growing and has gotten lighter and her skin tone has also changed just a little.
She also didn't realize how much she kept to herself before. She knew that she did, but not to such an extent that simply saying 'hi' to someone would get her odd looks. Or that a brief smile would get noticed and get commented on.

She's gone around to her professors and turned in as much as her work ahead of time as she can without it seeming strange, and then she retreated to a far corner of the library with her laptop, a book and some paper to take notes on.

She ends up not being able to concentrate at all on the book and the paper is full of doodles within an hour.

When Billy IMs her, it's like relief has come.

He blinks.

wzrdoftherock: Strange looks? What's going on?

strgatechild: Apparently I've changed alot since I came to Milliways. *frustrated*

wzrdoftherock: Ah... Hm. And people are noticing and commenting? *pokes them*

He sighs. He can see how that might happen.

strgatechild: I didn't know I kept to myself so much! Or was so..unhappy?

She sighs.

strgatechild: I also need to get my hair cut.

wzrdoftherock: *hugs* You ready to bug out yet? We can go catch dinner and hang and book you a hair cut too, if ya like. I found a place while I was wandering. *grins*

strgatechild: Pleeeeease. Where are you? I'll meet you.

He looks around, and spots a building name

wzrdoftherock: I'm at Richards Building? In the green outside it? With a bike and my geer.

[janetsdaughter]

She raises an eyebrow, but at the moment she doesn't care enough to ask.

strgatechild: I'll be there in five.

He laughs and packs up his stuff, and settles to wait for her, sitting on his bicycle.

He breathes in and enjoys the air.

And in four minutes Cassie comes running up to Billy with her backpack slung over her shoulder. She manages not to tip him over in her enthusiam as she wraps her arms around him tight and kisses him.

"You're heeeeeeeere."

He hugs her close and kissssssses her back and grins.

"Yes. yes I am..."

He grins at her and kisses her again and snuggles her, feeling right and good and bouncy!

He grins again.

"You wanna get out of here?"

She smiles and snuggles close to him, feeling like all's right with the world now. "Just wanna be with yoou."

He grins at her and kisses her in quick kisses. She feels very good against him.

"We could go back to my room and hang? Watch a movie and get food on the way over?"

She nods her head against his chest. "Okay." She makes noooooo motion to move.

He pokes her, gently.

"Um... that requires movement, right?"

He laughs and then just kisses her for awhile.
