Cassie's brain registers the light almost as soon as it begins to come in from the windows. And before she is even awake fully, all the emotions from last night come rushing back and she curls back up into a ball, trying to block out everything: internal and external.

When he comes back out and sees how she is lying, he gets concerned and comes over to her side. He isnt sure what to do, but he settles next to her and just lays a hand on her shoulder, hoping he can give some comfort to her.

She inhales sharply, surprised at the touch, and glances up. Her eyes are still red, and it's obvious she's been crying. "Oh..
Billy.."
She rolls over and up a bit, lays her head on his leg and snuggles in close.

His eyes widen and then he closes his armd around her and holds her, stroking her back softly.

He eases back some and eyes her, then kisses her and turns them both to watch the screen, starting the actual movie.

He hugs her and grins.

"Movie, good?"

mmm...yes! They do!

She snuggles against him.
"mmmmmhm. Good."
Because movie means snuggles and snuggles are always good.

He grins and watches the movie, holding onto her nice and warmly.

A little while later the oven timer goes off with a ding and he gets up slowly, extricating himself from the Casiehugmonster and goes to cut the pizza.

He returns with pizza and plates and water and stuff.

"Foooood!"
