Not sure who to root for at the Cup of China this weekend? Why not check out these fierce members of Team Japan!

Yes Tatsuki's always dubbed "The Fourth Man" in Japan but he's not to be dismissed.
Here's a short fluff from Japanese TV.

Daisuke Takahashi is my idol.
He goes to the same university as Takahashi. Just like his idol, his strength lies in his expressiveness.
He's the best (in expressiveness) so I want to work on my skating to become like him.
He finished fourth at the Japan Nats last year, barely missing the Olympic Team.
It made me realize how strong the Top 3 men were. But I'm definitely going to get there.
This season he has been working on the quad. In September he landed his first one in competition and won his first gold at an international senior competiton.
Cup of China will be his debut in the Grand Prix circuit and he is going to stir-up a whirlwind.
The Grand Prix Series is the only thing on my mind right now. I will practice hard and I want to win a medal there.

Tatsuki won the Nebelhorn Trophy this year with a respectable total score of 221.22 and HE IS ON THE RISE.
Here are his programs for this season.

AND DON'T FORGET AKIKO SUZUKI, WHO IS AIMING FOR HER SECOND CONSECUTIVE WIN AT COC!

Here's her clip from the same program.

A year ago at the Cup of China, a cinderella was born. It was her very first win at a major international competition.
She won the title over World silver medalist Joannie Rochette and finally reached the ranks of a top skater.
People started recognizing me as Suzuki who performed at the Olympics. I didn't know so many people knew me.
Her skating life has changed drastically over the year but she is still working to improve herself day by day.
I feel so happy that I'm finding new things to do, little by little.
Cup of China will be her chance for her second consecutive win. The second chapter of her cinderella story has just begun.

Akiko won the Finlandia Trophy this year with these programs.
