Shinou is sitting in the main room, observing the people and considering some recent events. He looks thoughtful but can be disturbed.

After visiting Ken and checking on Shadow -- who's closely following her now -- she's on her way to find Shinou. 'Luck must be on my side', she thinks when she sees him.

"Hello, Shinou."

[originalking]

"Ah, Angelina. Hello," he smiles at her. "Do sit down if you have a moment."

[angie_chaser]

"I do, actually, as I wanted to speak to you." She sits beside him, her pup laying at her feet, looking at Shinou.

"What about?"

[angie_chaser]

"A very bull-headed Sage," she begins. "I just visited Ken, who's planning on speaking to his attacker...again. I don't think -- no, I know -- he should do it."

[originalking]

He looks somewhat amused, despite the seriousness of the apparent situation. "Did you dare to tell him he could not? You are braver than I."

He looks more serious again as he adds, "But perhaps if he is set on it I should accompany him."

[angie_chaser]

"I advised him not to, asked him to promise me he wouldn't -- and he said he couldn't do that --" *sighs*

"He's got it in his head that he is the one to help save Malfoy. He wouldn't accept that in this case, he can't. It's on Malfoy to change and grow, and no one else. Just short of putting him under house arrest, or putting wards around him, what can be done? His attacker may not have any magic, but that doesn't necessarily make him less dangerous."

"I will speak with him about it and if he still wants to go then I will make sure I am with him," he says. "I do have.. magic. I can protect him, if need be."

[angie_chaser]

"Someone should," she says, more to herself. "He's too kind for his own good."

[originalking]

"Kind?" He sounds as if that's something unusual.

[angie_chaser]

"What would you call him? I don't know of too many victims who try to redeem their attackers. Most just want to move on with their lives, right?"

[originalking]

"He... may think better of people. Think the best of them - no matter who they are. I'm not sure if you'd always call that kind." He says thoughtfully. "But I would trust his judgement implicitly."

[angie_chaser]

*looks across the room at nothing in particular* "I don't think I can, not in this case."

[originalking]

"Why is that, may I ask?"

[angie_chaser]

"He's being reckless. I'm no stranger to that, having done a few bone-headed things in my own life. I know he's lived a long time, and knows infinitely more than me, but Ken could be dead wrong about Malfoy."

*looks at Shinou* "He's just too stubborn to admit it."

[originalking]

"Reckless? My Daikenjya?" He looks very surprised by that. "He often called me reckless... but I cannot even imagine him being so.... Stubborn, yes. But reckless?" He seems amazed.
