Shinou has found a quiet corner of the mansion's library and is reading some historical books, primarily to catch up on that which he doesn't know about the Earth. In a small pile by his side, he also has some books on more recent technologies for curiosity's sake. He looks like he is immersed in his reading but he's free to be disturbed.

Lestat comes through the library, whistling a happy tune to himself when he sees Shinou. Not sure if Ken has talked to him since, or how he is doing, he bows politely and smiles. "Bonsoir monsieur. I hope to find you well since we last spoke?"

He looks up from his reading and nods briefly. "Well enough," his eyes linger on Lestat's face for a moment then glance back at his book, before making a decision and placing the book down and offering a small, but not unfriendly, smile. "And how have you been?"

His mouth spreads into a wide smile and he makes a soft, pleased noise. "I have been -very- well, merci. At this moment, I really couldn't ask for more."

"That is good. If people can be happy and contented, all can be well, correct?"

He waves toward a comfortable nearby chair. "Please do sit down - unless you are in a hurry to be elsewhere..?"

[englishgent]

In the library as well, as he often is. David sees Shinou sitting there. Recognising him from Ken's thoughs he approaches.

"A fine selection you have there"

"Do you think so? I am trying to find out more about ... everything," he gives him an amused smile. He doesn't yet know who he is.

[englishgent]

"Well everything is quite an interesting subject. It might take you a while." *Smiles a warm friendly smile* *picks out one of the history books "ah, this one is a personal favourite of mine"

He glances at the book. He just pulled some general ones out at random. "I'm sorry. I should introduce myself." He stands, to be polite. "I am Shinou."

[angie_chaser]

In one of the rare moments when she's not doing anything or being followed by a four-legged fur ball, Angelina's in the library, looking through shelf after shelf on books related to the fur ball, of course. Anything that will help train Shadow is most welcomed.

She passes the quiet stranger, feeling a strong, ancient aura about him, and politely nods once.

He glances up from his book and nods back at her. "Hello..."

"Hello, sir." She disappears behind a row for sometime, emerging after 15 or 20 minutes carrying several books: Shelby Marlo's New Art of Dog Training: Balancing Love and Discipline, When Animals Speak, by Penelope Smith, and Guide to Owning a Newfoundland: Puppy Care, Grooming, Training, History, Health, Breed Standard - by Sarah Storey.

Finding a small desk some five meters away, she withdraws a small quill and several pieces of parchment from her jacket and sits down. She's determined to get this dog owning and training stuff down to perfection.

He doesn't want to disturb her as she looks busy so he just watches her quietly for a moment before returning to his book.

After a few minutes he closes it and sighs, though quietly.
