A quickie update
Well its been a while... since I could...
not be so lazy and update my lj. lol
Well this summer has been something else. For starters as noted on Steves's LJ, i was unable to play Halo 3 b/c I'm worthless (or something like that lol). I've been working nearly non-stop for another... I sometimes get 2 days off a week, but not always, and I'm working 8.5 hrs minimum per shift, usually 9 or 10 is the norm and 12-13 not out of the question. So needless to say I'm earning some cash but it comes at the price of nearly all my free time as well as most of what qualifies as sanity. The job itself is technically an internship, but I'd say this is management-lite at best. I'm really more of a regular employee and anything beyond that seems like an afterthought.
In other news: I got the RA position I was angling for eventually! I was put on the wait list and told that odds were pretty slim i'd get in and to find other housing... of course once I did I heard back and I got in after all... so after some back and forth with Phi Psi, I was able to get out of my housing contract and everything worked out just fine. Next year I'll be an RA in Harrison Hall if you can believe that!!
Also on school related matters, I've all but decided for sure to go to law school after I graduate. Right now I'm looking at the University of Boulder in Colorado, University of Minnesota, and a few others in the West and Midwest... My GPA is good enough that pretty much any school that I'd want to go to is within reach, but my LSAT score will determine which schools are actually accessable to me. But I won't even take that test for another 6 months at least, soooooo that is on hold.
