Pretty solid weekend
Jeez man, i really need to work on getting to bed sooner, this is gonna hurt me if i keep this up!!!
Anyway, here is one of my idols, a man that goes by the name of Fela Kuti. Hes a Jazz/Afro Beat musician that was a political activist in Nigeria. If you ever get the time, download some of his jams, they are awesome!
Anyway, my weekend was pretty awesome. I went to oregon this weekend for the Oregon Twilight meet. I was i hte fast section of the 1500 and came in 2nd place running a 6 second pr of 3:45.7! I beat a 3:38 guy (Sean Duffy) so i was pretty happy with that. I got my World Junior Standard, one of only three to do so far this season (the other two are college frosh).
Came back saturday for Jules funeral, it was really sad that i had to come to grips with the fact that hes gone forever. We all lost a good person, and more importantly a good friend. He was always kind and intelligent, always willig to help. Im gonna miss yo bro!
That night went over to Brookes watched a movie with the all mighty Timbo, Mariana and Dean... quite frankly i dont remember hte name of the movie, it was funny, but for hte most part very lame!
Today was righteous in its own way. Woke up went for my run with Timbo, Scott and Florian. Did the Ranch loop pretty easy in 77 min. Picked up Mariana, then went to tutoring for a couple hours. Came home, talked on the phone for a new PR (dean knows what im talking about! w00t!!!). And here i am now, sitting in front of my computer, less then 9 hours from the AP Physics test. I did some cram studying of the equations. I have mixed feelings about this test. I think i got a shot at passing, i know the equations, its just a matter if i can apply them! Whatever though, anything above a 1 is a success in my book for this test. Govt test tuesday, league prelims on tuesday, Wednesday = DDay (mariana def knows what im talking about) and Friday is League Finals or better known as AJ's third workout of the week day :P
As for now, im out like flint, ya'll know the score.
