sorry, i thought we were allowed to submit previously made icons but if we aren't numbers 7, 3, and 1 all should be eliminated; they are all old icons i have seen posted around livejournal.
Old icons are almost never allowed in an icon contest unless previously stated. This whole contest should have just been cancelled considering so many people have submitted other icons.
But, it wasn't up to me. I had to give it to someone else, and the contest is over now, so it really doesn't matter.
indeed. when i submitted i saw several ppl submitting old icons, so i assumed we could submit used ones. i even said when i submitted "from the looks of the icons ppl have submitted, we can submit previously made icons. if thats not true, ignore this post". i don't know why that wasnt done, but i'd have not submitted if i thought i was breaking the rules. anyway, looks like the whole contest got screwed up, oh well, it happens. it's so hard to get participation these days, it sucks when u have to pull contests or skip weeks for one reason or another.
