okay, so it looks as if i finally have a job. Where do you ask? Another auto shop, but i'll be starting at the bottom as a general service tech--BUT,BUT,but...there's opportunity for advancement, thus it's a worthwhile investment. Then again, i need a job, an income, so it's not like i really have the driver's seat in this.
Yeah, i just had the interview today and just need to go get tested for drugs (let's hope all the alcohol--which wasn't much at all, 2 beers--is out of my system). i'm getting a bit paranoid about this--a potential great job, already hired, and then *suspense music* drug test comes back "She's has alcohol in her system!" i don't even know if they even test for alcohol. Others' say they don't but, like i said, i'm anxious and paranoid. The classic fear of losing something that's just within you're reach--something that if all goes well you know you can get! Well damnit! But this flee market idea, i'm serious about. All i need to do is figure out where i can buy plants, wood, clay, stones (copper, quarts, bronze, ect) in bulk at wholesale prices. Miniture gardens, jewelry boxes, incense holders, wooden and paper puppets (kinda like what that girl made in white oleander), X-Mas ordaments....i'm more inclined to make oriental, far eastern wares but, in accordance to the majority of people that go to the belwood flee market, i really should do a lot of aztec, mexican, and catholic (with a central american flavor) stuff. Shit, i'm open to all kinds of ideas. Please give me your thoughts! (Sandi, not to put you on the spot, but you could help me with this one.) I mean any idea...from pin up posters to creapy skeleton puppets or statues...anything, except using animal parts other then the bones. I saw this one "art masterpiece" by this woman of two sheets of horridly cut fabric, a light bulb with the wires running vertically down the photo, with a center piece of chicken, something skin? gizzards? Needless to say, i didn't get it.
