portland

i definately will not miss the multitude of people that will come up to you so enthusiastically say a compliment such as "nice jacket" and then ask for a cigarette or a dollar...courtesy with the purpose of selfish gain.
however the trip there was worthwhile and happily welcomed although i was also estatic to finally come home (if you could call it that) to familar surroundings and people. i finally see sandi after two years of separation and maxx--her new baby boy who is soo cute. i'll miss them both but like most (i stand corrected, eventually..) all my friends i will encounter months, years of separation--sometimes without even talking. i'm like that i guess. i also enjoyed spending some time with chris, although he may say i'm got a bit annoyed at times (which i won't dispute--i did--but quickly got over it). i'm very happy he has a goal to move to portland and to go to school--to grow and be himself.
im also happy that sandi seems to be doing well and has someone (maxx).
