[ History ] :
http://souleater.wikia.com/wiki/Patricia_Thompson [ Personality ] :
Patti is the younger sister to Liz Thompson, and tends to act very childlike, ditzy, and naïve. Much like a child, she’s playful and will give blunt honesty from time-to-time regardless if it hurts feelings or not, including her friends. Still, she remains loyal to those she has a high respect and friendship with, such as her sister Liz or her meister, Death the Kid. When it comes to most dangerous or serious situations, Patti will treat it as a game instead of taking it seriously, even responding to the situation with simple, maniacal laughter. Another thing Patti enjoys doing involves playing practical jokes, one of them being where she and Black Star pretended to be Liz’s children, ruining her older sister’s chances with a guy she liked at a party. Along with being playful, she’s also very emotional, going from childish and curious to violent anger in an instant. While quick-tempered, Patti can get distracted pretty easily, forgetting her anger just as quickly.
Despite her childish nature, it’s implied that Patti has a more serious side to her when the time calls for it. If something goes wrong in combat, or an enemy proves to be tougher than Patti thought, her childish side will slip a little, and she’ll turn more serious. The biggest example of this is when an enemy, Noah, ambushes Patti, Liz, and Kid and then uses his book to suck Kid into it as part of his “collection”, leaving Patti and her sister to fend for themselves. Liz starts to break down crying, and Patti uncharacteristically calls her sister a coward, and then reaches out to place a hand on Liz’s head in order to comfort her. This scene alone implies that Patti’s childish and naïve nature might be more of an act then her true nature.
In the midst of combat or any kind of training, Patti shows an almost psychotic joy in battle. While being a skilled fighter, she doesn’t hold back and even seems to enjoy combat, screaming “DIE!” at enemies with a huge, crazed grin. Even though she seems to enjoy fighting, she doesn’t go around unleashing her violent side on just anyone who ends up rubbing her the wrong way (even though she‘ll yell and threaten them before being calmed down by her sister or Kid), instead most of her anger is directed towards anyone she perceives as an enemy. And anyone she does happen to see as an enemy, she doesn’t hold back when fighting them.
[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
Strengths: Patti’s shown to be a skilled fighter and physically strong when it comes to hand-to-hand combat. And despite her ditzy and childlike nature, she always seems to pull through when the situation calls for it. She’s also loyal, but only if she has enough respect for the person in question. She’s uh, also a skilled artist apparently.
Weaknesses: Sometimes Patti lets her emotions get the better of her, acting quickly and violently out of anger. She tends to be ditzy, and often times fails to take situations seriously, such as when she turned a major DWMA tests into an art project.
[ Other Important Facts ] :
Since Patti is a weapon, she has the ability to turn into a pistol. However, not just anyone can wield her once she's in weapon form, she has to be able to sync up with them first.
