I just realized the magnitude of my academic duties in the coming weekend (thank goodness I have an extra two days, albeit most of the extra time will be taken up by Thanksgiving festivities)...
- write 4-6pp paper for classics (due Mon)
- study like MAD for a highly important calculus midterm, the material of which I am nearly entirely ignorant in (on Thu)
- try vainly to do the weekly killer math problem set (due Wed?)
- prep a solo/oral presentation for classics (on Thu)
- study for a classics quiz (on Thu)
- work on/finish the weekly chem problem set (due Wed)
- read the regular weekly crap for classes
- begin 5pp research paper for chem (due finals week)
- catch up on recopying notes for all classes
- catch up on studying in general before finals rolls around and kicks my butt (Dec.11-16)
(Originally I'd also be studying for a two-part French exam, but that was mercifully changed to the next week. *whew*) Looks like I shan't be going to San Diego for my dad's side of the family Thanksgiving gathering. Eeps. I'll just be going -at least for a little while- to each side of the family's annual lunch/dinner. Even then, I may bring along work and barricade myself into a [hopefully] quiet corner somewhere...
C'est moi, dans beaucoup de mes cours. Malheureusment. Beaucoup d'oeufs (et cours)!
5 classes, 18 units. It's not as bad as it could be. I'm pondering the wisdom, or lack thereof, of repeating the feat next quarter - especially since the classes will be harder & more time consuming. Still, I need to keep up with !@^$# ECP, get decent grades, and graduate on time. Decisions, decisions.
School is such a love-hate relationship... I guess it could be said that I love the learning aspect and hate the workload/pressure *coughgradescough*.
I made a "real" caffeine molecule from my new molecular modeling kit and fixed it on my wall. It is awesome.
Now if only the dining hall coffee weren't so weak. I'm stuck with getting vending machine coffee in campus... If only more tasteful coffee at Starbucks, Coffee Bean, etc. weren't so overpriced! I am a fan of cafe mochas. :)
Compliments of thinkgeek, and gakked from my most recent Xanga entry...
Now that half of my major is in the school of engineering -->
<-- So I wonder how smart I am...

Considering the upcoming load and the fact that I have two semi-large academic endeavors to finish by Wednesday, I should get off the computer and get to work! If I don't speak to you all before then, have a happy, blessed Thanksgiving! :) (ok, so I'm not a fan of the word "blessed", but am currently in too much of a hurry to think of some less-overused phrase.)
Love and hugs. Textbooks and caffeine. wooh. XOXO...
