KENSAI APPROVAL!
setting his fork down guiltily. He’d been using it to poke curiously at the food on his plate, which he had yet to identify in any meaningful way other than the fact that it may have been alive at one time or another.
*sporfleDIEZ* … I have missed this!
“Used to work for a paper company based in Texas,” Claude said. “Primatech. Traveling salesman, that sort of thing. Not very interesting.”
He didn’t realize his mistake until Claire looked up from her plate, eyes wide.
“Primatech?” she repeated, voice hollow.
Bahahahhhaahhahaha! *grins fiendishly*
They’d given him different sales pitches to memorize and brochures to carry around in a briefcase next to the stash of extra bullets for his gun.
*cannot … stop … giggling* Oh god … I never thought that PAPER would sound menacing …
Claude found out about it and he offered himself up as a test subject.”
“Supposedly there was money involved, but I haven’t seen a dime of it,” Claude said.
Heh …
“That apartment is awfully small for two people, isn’t it?” Heidi said. “It seemed like it was barely big enough for you when you were living there alone.”
What the bloody hell is Heidi talking about? You could fit FIVE families inside Peter’s apartment! And that’s only the parts we’ve SEEN!
“It’s Matt. He wants to talk to you.”
“Seeking relationship advice, no doubt,” Claude said, taking the phone. “I already told him carriage rides in the park were out this year.”
*erupts into loud, embarrassing laughter* GOD I have missed this!
so Angela Petrelli can have a listen when she gets here.”
“That woman scares me,” Parkman said.
“Rightly so,” Claude said.
Hah!
“So, what’s the verdict? Is the good doctor cheating on you or what?”
*le gasp* Mohinder, a slash-slut? Where WOULD you get that idea? *prays that SYLAR is in town*
Peter’s got his old loft.” Though, as far as Claude could tell, the boy used it more for solitary brooding purposes than for creating prescient works of art. Which, as far as Claude was concerned, was just fine.
Bahahahahahaha …
Two father figures willing to go to great lengths to protect their adopted kids. Match made in heaven, that.”
I cannot wait for the impending spy-slash we’ll get with those two in Volume III …
You…do whatever it is you do when others aren’t around. Dust the furniture in pearls and high heels or whatever.”
*can’t breathe* I … want … fanart!
“Think Peter might be explaining the birds and the bees to her,” Claude said without turning as Nathan came up next to him.
HAH! Peter would certainly know the various aspects …
“Parkman couldn’t decide which shade of lipstick went best with the new dress he bought today,” Claude replied. “He wants to surprise Suresh later.”
*hasn’t … stopped … giggling*
“I didn’t realize he and Dr. Suresh were…together.”
“Frankly, I don’t think they realize it either,” Claude said. “Being the resolutely heterosexual men that they are, of course.”
“I don’t know Parkman, but I wouldn’t exactly call Suresh ‘resolutely heterosexual,’”
*slides under the desk and DIEZ*
Claude considered his answer. “The jury’s still out on whether or not Peter’s a girl,”
Indeed. Ever since we saw his passport …
“But I was thinking more along the lines of the allusion I may have made to my past affiliation with a certain paper company. You know, the one that may or may not have been a front for the same shady organization her own father was associated with up until recently.”
*GRINZ*
“Anyway, Heidi had a room made up for you,” Nathan said. “Could you at least go in there and mess up the sheets a little so I don’t have to think about you and my brother in his room doing…whatever.”
HAH!
“So, what time does your mother get in tomorrow?”
“Mid-morning.”
“I better go prepare myself, then.”
“That’s probably a good idea.”
Oh, I can’t WAIT for that!

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the new chapter and that all the lines you cited made you laugh. :) It's funny what you said about the size of Peter's apartment. I definitely see what you're saying about it seeming big enough for five families. I remember it seeming quite spacious in the episode where Simone and Peter end up in bed together. But then during the episode where Claude steals a beer out of Peter's fridge (which I confess I have not rewatched pretty much since it aired), I remember it seemed to have shrunk. Maybe it was just the angles they were filming it from that made it seem that way. Or maybe I'm remembering it wrong. Who knows? :)
As for your request for fan art of Matt in the high heels and pearls, I can only say that I lack the talent necessary to render that particular image on paper. The idea of it both horrifies me and amuses me greatly, lol.
Anyway, thanks again for commenting. Part Six should be up by the end of the week. Hope to see you there!

Hah, I'd read your next installment if I was housing a bunch of rowdy Vikings! Or in a play! (Like at the end of next month through early March, so BE WARNED!)
I really should go over there one of these days and check out the Mohinder/Sylar stories. The pairing has always intrigued me but for some reason I've never gotten around to reading any of the stuff based on it. Hmm...
Hee ... I can give you big lists if you wish ... don't come now though, the drabble-contest is sucking everyones' souls ...

You always make me laugh, it's wonderful after a long week to kick back and read your fic ...

That IS odd ... I dunno ... *shrugs* maybe the APARTMENT has a power!
