Heh, well I am still here. And I've started playing Neoquest ><
I'm supposed to be revising but...Neo is such a great distraction along with lj and two other pet sites I've joined. So..plugness.
Kind of more commercial than Neo since you can actually sell your pets. Idea of the game is to show dogs. It's interesting in a way, but biased towards players who been playing for a long time. Takes ages to get going. My two dogs haven't moved out of the novice category yet, because there are so many novice dogs it takes ages. I guess it gets better when you've got going. Not much to do once you've fed your pets and played with them and entered them in shows unless you're really rich.
And then Psypets (www.psypets.net, can't be bothered providing linkage and there's no referral thingy). The antidote to Neo: tiny pet graphics, not really commercial, no games. Not that much to occupy you but fun recipes (beware of surprises) and mature community. No censorship. Swearing on boards perfectly fine.
Must resist internet. Must resist.
