I figure since I'm on hiatus from facebook, it's time to reacquaint myself with lj

So this evening, my daughter has her very fist injury. She went to pull herself up on the couch and her hand slipped and she fell down onto the carpet. When she fell, I assume that her two bottom teeth hit the topmost inside part of her upper lip. I didn't think she had hurt herself as bad as she did until I saw all of the blood. She stopped crying within a minute and seemed to be fine. The bleeding stopped a few minutes after when I gave her a popsicle to suck on. I'm going to try and get a look at it tomorrow. She wouldn't let me today, and rightly so.

I need to start reading and studying for my first class in the morning, but I honestly cannot gather up the muster to do so. I'm feeling quite sluggish since I spent the majority of the evening yesterday and until the afternoon today with an upset stomach. Harry Potter 5 is on and the tv is much bigger in the living room or else I'd go lay down and work.

So far the hiatus from facebook is going well. I had to take a break. I was becoming too entranced and dependent upon it. Your life should not revolve around a social network, or at least be a large part of it. I miss the days before facebook. When you had to call/text someone to figure out how they were, what was going on, just to have a conversation. It all just seems less personable.

If you feel the need to reply, please do so via LiveJournal, E-mail, or Text.

Love and Thanks,

A.
