... Of Celine's 21st on Saturday and a ride on the KTM to JB at the Tanjong Pagar Railway on Sunday!
Saturday was good, in a weird way I guess. Before heading down to Celine's 21st, Vincent and I had lunch and shopped at Ion before we met up with someone whom I haven't met or spoke to for a few months. Things were pretty awkward at first and no doubt I was feeling nervous before that but I guess everyone was right, I had to face it. It was only a matter of time. But I'm glad we met anyway though I still have qualms about things but only time will tell. I won't deny that I can't forget the things you've said but everyone's got to move on at point of time. This is life.
So anyway, headed down to Celine's place for her 21st celebration there after. It was her actual birthday yesterday so I would like to wish my dearest Celine a Happy Belated 21st! Hope your first year of adulthood will be a kick ass one (besides school that is!) But I'm sure you'll have an awesome one! Enjoy the ride and have a fruitful year ahead! It's been a joy knowing you and hope you stay bubbly as ever! Play hard and study smart! Love you many many!
Okay, shall leave you to the pictures taken from Troy's camera + some from mine :)
Me and the birthday girl :)
Another one with the lovely birthday girl :)
I love this group picture of us! I think it's very well taken!
Oh! Anyway, I got a new camera from the PC show about 2 weeks back. A Canon Ixus 220. I hope this will serve me better and longer than the previous Sony one I got! So far, so good :)
And because I've never got on the KTM nor been to the Tanjong Pagar railway station before ... I got Syl, T and Vincent out on a Sunday and took a short ride on the KTM to JB and spent the day at City Square. I must say it was a good experience and I'm glad we went on it! Shall leave you with some pictures!
Syl and T <3
There are actually more pictures with Vincent! I'll upload once I get hold of them!
I have to put up the infamous picture of me standing at the door looking like a potianak! Haha.
The journey was about an hour plus including the time spent at the two immigration checkpoints.
I didn't really shop much. Just got two pairs of footwear and then we tried foot massage at Thai Odyessy which by the way, wasn't that great. I still prefer the one I did at Bintan! I think we shopped and ate way way too much that day! (well at least for me.) But I enjoyed the great company :) Hehe.
Anyway, If you're curious and would like to know how you can get on the KTM for short rides like to JB. You can just head down an hour before the train departure time and get the tickets straight. For us, we could only get the $13.00 cause it was the only seats left and departure time was 1.00pm. Everything was good except for the sour stench which was quite bothering. But other than that, it was fine :) As for the ride back, purchase it half an hour before the departure time back. This time, we got the tickets only at 5 Ringgit! But free seating. We took the 8.15pm ride back but it got delayed till 8.45pm instead.
But it's still a very good experience! If you're planning to board at Tanjong Pagar, better go before they cease its operation there by the 1st July!
