A warning to my friends who aren't masochists:
NEVER EVER INSTALL OR PURCHASE WINDOWS VISTA UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE AN EMPTY SHELL OF A HUMAN BEING. DON'T EVEN BOTHER PIRATING IT, IT'S NOT WORTH THE DISK SPACE.
I *hate* Vista. I tried to find something positive about it, I really did. There are exactly two good things about it: it looks pretty (too bad you can modify XP to look exactly like it) and you can make your computer run faster with a flash drive (I know my computer with a 1.73gHz dual core processor and one GB of RAM needs to run faster...). So the only real problems you have are: wireless network disconnecting randomly, your hard drive being constantly used, probably wearing it out long before its lifespan, none of your favorite games or programs running correctly, or at all, and hogging of system resources.
