February: Name Your Favorite ____
OK, I too am as usual joining in the Campaign To Make February Great. Other folks are doing quotes and happy things, which I have done before, so I want to do something a bit different. Each day, I'm going to ask for recommendations for something - a type of book, or food, or place to go - and so hopefully amass a great list of things for me and others to check out. Along the way, I'll offer one rec myself for each thing. No spoilers, please.
So, for today (through tomorrow evening at 8 PM), my request is that you recommend a favorite webpage - someplace that one's of the first places you always check in the morning, that's not a social network or email - could be a blog, or a newssite, or a webcomic, or whatever works for you. What should I be reading to cheer up and enlighten my morning?
I think my rec will be Darths and Droids, the only webcomic I read regularly at this point. It is the Star Wars movies (starting with Ep I, now just into Ep IV) reimagined as if they were being played by a tabletop gaming group, and it almost but not quite managed to redeem Episodes I-III for me.
