[Fanfic] Hiyoshi Wakashi, Ootori Choutarou

Another Happy Birthday Post for Hiyoshi~!!
Okay, so it's not really a fanfic, more of a drabble, which I wrote in my head on the half hour walk back from a chemistry review session early this morning and typed down quickly so I can go back studying for finals so sorry if it's lame or anything :'D But! It's Hiyo's birthday today, so I couldn't not~

It was funny how the situation turned around so that *he* was the one doing the comforting, Hiyoshi thought to himself as he brought Choutarou a cup of tea and sat on the edge of the bed next to him. "It's fine. I don't care," he said, though the monotone did little to convince.
Choutarou looked up at him with still teary eyes, "I didn't mean to break your window, honestly! I've seen people do it in movies all the time, when a guy goes up the house of a girl he likes and--" A glare from Hiyoshi cut him off short. Never again will Choutarou be allowed to hang out with Oshitari and his choice of movies, Hiyoshi decided murderously. Choutarou swallowed, trying to control his voice so that it didn't tremble, "A-and the windows always held. ...Why didn't you open it? I thought maybe you didn't hear the first few, so I threw the stones harder and--"
"Because," Hiyoshi interjected irritably, preferring to cut this babbling nonsense short rather to hear it all the way through, "Unfortunately, my desire to sleep overrode the curiosity of investigating random noises at half past midnight," he ended with gritted teeth.
Choutarou flinched visibly, "Well, I tried to come earlier, but I've never snuck out of the house before..."
'THAT'S NOT THE POINT,' Hiyoshi wanted to yell, but kept it in his head as he picked up the teacup and drank from it. Choutarou didn't deserve tea.
"I just wanted to wish you a happy birthday, Hiyoshi."
Warm brown eyes met his steel grey ones, and Hiyoshi found himself giving in, like he always does. "...I know. Thanks." He passed Choutarou the half full cup, "But next time, just send a text message."
