PING: Computer types!
Hey guys I need some networking kinda help here. I just moved back in with my mom (due to crazy underwater basket weaving leprechauns)and I want to have internet access on my laptop. Now here's teh situation: mom has a puter in her bedroom with a cable modem. I have a laptop that has wireless capabilites. Is there anyway to get a wireless router and hook it up to her already existant modem? Or should I call the cable company and see if I should get a wireless modem and buy her a wireless card? Or should I just call the cable company and get another modem for my room?
