So a gorilla just barged into my room... interesting. Crazy West Virginians! haha ; )
Dartmouth has a lot of fun Halloween spirit, so I had a decidedly nice spooky day. Food court was covered with decorations and played Halloween music (the Ghostbusters!!), and they served pumpkin and tons of Halloweeny desserts. Yummy! Then, I checked out Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor from the music library and learned the first page. SO MUCH FUN! Some of my floormates were kind enough to come listen to me, in a very dark church no less. That definitely put me into the Halloween spirit. ; ) Then, we went trick-or-treating for canned goods! I was a generic Gryffindor girl / Lavender, Rashmi was Pansy Parkinson, and we had a Tonks! We said we were Hogwarts exchange students spending the term at Dartmouth... oh yeah, book dorks! We got some candy, too, which was nice.
Now I'm just hanging out in my room, trying to get some work done and go to bed early since I've been up until 2 for the past 5 nights. I was so dead in math this morning at 8:45 - not cool.
Oh, I went to Boston this weekend!! AMAZING. I got to see Annie for 7 hours, which was really, really great. We had lunch in Cambridge, then hopped on the T and went downtown to Faneuil Hall and the harbor. It snowed almost the entire time (real snow, not flurries), so we didn't stay outside that long. Though we did stand in the snow looking out across the foggy, silent harbor for a while. So beautiful. Here are some pictures.
