Explorers Camp Session 1
Hey ho! Camp rocks my world. The kids are sweet, the counselors are hilarious, and the mountain is beautiful. I'm so grateful to have this experience one last time.
Some highlights:
- My four girls. Amazing. My favorite, Paige, was a tiny blond who couldn't say her r's. She was so energetic and crazy funny.
- Getting creamed with an egg on the top of my head during the egg toss. Yummy
- The view from the top of North Mountain. Stunning.
- Perfect smores.
- Bonding with the girls during the pool party. Paige decided I was her pony and rode on my back the entire night.
I'm excited for second session, which starts tomorrow. I have a couple returning girls, and we get to go canoeing and caving! I need to get some sleep before then, though, cause I'm exhausted.
